As Foxhaven’s lease came to an end, the Charlottesville-based asset management company chose to relocate to a newly constructed building on the Downtown Mall.

Eager for a modern workspace, Foxhaven was committed to upgrading their office while retaining their existing material palette. The new design needed to accommodate a high-level clientele while conveying the comfort and approachability central to Foxhaven’s corporate culture.

To achieve this balance, BRW partnered with Richmond-based interior design firm SMBW. Together, we crafted an elevated workspace that reinforces the Foxhaven brand, welcomes clients, and supports a highly productive team.

Upon entering the new office, visitors are greeted by an elegant and intimate reception area. This leads to a cozy break room, traditional offices, workstations, and a fully equipped conference room.

Refined walnut panels and reclaimed wood furniture infuse warmth and richness into the space. In contrast, raw concrete floors and exposed ceilings highlight the building’s modern aesthetic. This complementary design approach extends to the locally made concrete countertops, celebrating the tradition of craftsmanship while showcasing contemporary materials.
