Lia Keesecker holds the prestigious honor of having been hired by Bruce before her husband, now-Principal Kurt Keesecker. Prior to living, working, and raising a family in Charlottesville, Lia worked for Gensler Architects in New York City, where she was raised. She and Kurt both attended the school of architecture at University of Tennessee Knoxville, where they met.

She and Kurt designed and built their house in the Belmont neighborhood of Charlottesville. Lia is also an accomplished runner and traveler. At BRW, Lia specializes in working with our longtime institutional clients including Martha Jefferson Hospital and the UVA Foundation.
