we’re hiring: architectural associate / job lead

We are currently hiring an Architectural Associate with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in detailing and production. This position will transition quickly to a Job Lead after an initial period of employment, or will start as a Job Lead with the appropriate qualifications. An ideal candidate will have a strong design instinct, and will be proficient in presentation skills (both hand drawn and digital) as well as the production of construction drawings (we use REVIT). Like most positions at our firm, this role will continue to be involved in projects through bidding and construction.

We are a collaborative office where each person will do any task needed to create the quality of work that has built our reputation over the last almost 40 years. Therefore, the person in this position should have communication and coordination skills to manage projects and work closely with colleagues and consultants.

Our projects are diverse and exciting; they include new homes, neighborhood development, urban planning, early childhood development centers, affordable housing, commercial and medical offices, and religious centers. We provide a full range of services including programming, site selection, design (including interior design), documentation, contract administration, and consulting. You can expect to work on projects ranging from resident-led affordable housing, to commercial and nonprofit buildings, to historic preservation.

Candidates with a Masters in Architecture are preferred, but motivated and creative applicants with a BS or BA who have professional work experience are also strongly encouraged to apply.
